Hello World!
Ang dalawang salita na parating ginagamit sa unang program na macrecreate mo sa kung ano mang programming language. Who cares? Di nga ako magaling magprogram eh. But enough of that. Sa tagal ng gap ng last post ko at ngayon, ang dami daming nangyari sa kin. As in.

Kung sa last post ko sinabaw ako, ngayon, konting update lang sa mga nangyari sa kin at ilang thoughts of life:

1. Formdev Facilitator na ako (Weekly Bible Study; Handling Freshmen Students sa subject na Formdev; More friends, and hopefully walang madagdag na enemies)
2. Ang banda kong chicken Curry ay nag-gigigs na.
3. Sa RUSH TV ay mapapanood nio ako, Segment 5 ng Doctored, October 24, 2007
4. Walang update sa Magikeros.
5. Kami pa rin ni Bo. after 2 years XD
6. Nag-Lasaret na ako, with S17! Relive the memories~
7. GP-Peeps, no news.
8. Methods na ko ngayon, konti na lang mga tol, graduate na.

Item 1
Oo, formdev faci ako. Sa mga di nakakaalam kung ano yon, isa siyang organisasyong spiritual. Maniwala man kayo o hindi, kasali talaga ako dito. Di ko rin lubos maisip. Pero sa totoo lang, di ko alam kung bakit tinadhana ako na sumali sa ganitong klase ng organizations. Marahil ito ang tinatawag na nila na "calling". Ewann.. Anyways, Eto ang ilan sa mga groups na sinalihan ko involving religion:

Item 2

Chicken Curry Surprise
(A little WHOLE History)
This band was formed originally composing of four people. Rjay -Vocals; Rhythm Guitarist, Waway - Lead Guitarist;Back-up Vocalist, Edmon - Bassist, Jansen - Drummer.

Ang storya nito nagsimula..
Sa isang walang kwentang bocalista ng shienovielordz, kasi inuuna yung paglalaro ng RAN Online kesa sa praktis ng banda. Meron kasing Rock4Him non. Event sa simbahan kung saan magrarakrakan ng 2 kanta, tas isang praise song. Okay.. so yon.. Ako naman, napupundi na sa kaka-set ng practice sa bandang trickbind, dahil yung ibang miyembro nito parang wala lang, deadma at tinatamad pa minsan.... Isang araw naglalakad ako, narinig ko ung usapan nila Jansen at Edmon na bubuo sila banda... napaisip ako...tas nung sumunod na nakita ko sila, inopenup ko yung topic.. sabi ko, "Oy di ba bubuo kayo banda para sa Rock4Him? Sali naman ako hehehe". Okay naman sa kanila. So yun, following week sabi ni Edmon may vocalist na daw, yung dating vocalist dapat ng shienovielordz na mala-TheCalling. so ayun.. go na kami. Next Week Officially APRIL 3 Nagmeet ang apat, wala pa kaming pangalan.. pero may mga binabalak na tugtugin: Eto yun: Saosin - Seven Years, Story of the year - Anthem of our dying day, Chicosci - A Promise, Slapshock - Misteryo. Ang masaklap, kahit isa sa mga kantang tong di pa namin natutugtog hanggang ngayon. woo..
So set kami ng practice. Biglang naisip ko, hmm, kelangan ng distortion nito ah. so naisip ko ung kaibigan ko na si Dave, na swerte na kakabili lang ng gitara at distortion non. So hiniram ko, sabi ko sama na rin siya para makita niya binubuo naming banda. WE SUCKED. hahaha. yon lang masasabi ko sa unang studio practice ng Unnamed band. Di namin makuha ung misteryo, so we tried playing noob songs nung araw na yun, like songs from spongecola and 6cycle...
Then after that practice, I realized na mukhang mahihirapan kami kung kakanta at maggigitara si Rjay.. so sabi ko why not add another member to the group? Text agad ako kina Edmon at Jansen.. First yayain ko sana si vinno or ado from Trickbind ang former band ko. Kaso I realized, it was because of their unavailability kung bakit di natuloy ang trickbind sa rock4him (an event in SIP)in the first place. Kala rin nila edmon isa sa kanila iimbitahin ko. Unfortunately... not. Pero I had another option, si Dave, na may bagong instruments. And there we were. Nagmeet kmi sa bahay ko ng sometime same week ng pagkatext ko... And napagusapan, sinabi, at alas.. nabuo ang five man... LOL. So namili kami kanta..

Napili namin, Magbalik by Callalily. Shet , this song had GAY and SUCK written all-over it. Pero we had no choice, kasi kakastart pa lang ng band namin, so we were stuck with it. Good thing about dave, is that he spends most of his "bantay-ng-tindahan-namin" time by composing songs.. a lot of them. Most of them were good too. So he presented one of his songs to us, called "Hate me back", which I remember was fixed and finalized with me, the last time na pumunta si dave sa bahay ko para makipag-jam. (By the way, si Dave pala parating pumupunta sa bahay para maggitara kami. He was even the one who thought me how to play the goddamn thing. So I guess, he being a part of the band was a little part of my thanks to him as well.) The song was a lot punk-like, so emo.. yet so fast.. and lively..But it sucked because it was too noisy and punkish for the band, so we did not perform it in any of our previous gigs today. The last song we picked was Tensionado by soapdish. Again, noob song.. no choice. this song was our backup song, because we knew that the third song for the finals was actually a praise song, so it wouldn't be long before this song would say byebye.

Now all we had to do was think for a name for the band. So we opened the computer, and typed "band name generator" on Google. hahaha. Laughtrip yung mga lumalabas na pangalan ng banda. Until the a random band name which had the word "Chicken" appeared. Something like "The Super Chicken Supreme".. Then we thought, chicken sounds good... And then we thought of everything that had chicken... and there was CURRY. CHICKEN CURRY was born.
So after a couple of weeks of practice, we entered the screening process for Rock4Him. We thought of the possibility of not being included in the eight bands to perform in the finals. But fortunately, luck were on our side, and also because of some band REALLY sucking and CURSING on the screening process, we passed... We were given a song titled : "Power of your Love". So there we prepared.. bla bla.. Sounded like Rock and Roll... Then we ended up in 2nd place. Then we said to ourselves.. Let's not stop here. This is only the beginning... bla bla bla.. Corny statement....

Anyways, so we got invited to Makati Republic. Our first gig opportunity (c/o Edmon's Back to Back birthday Celebration). We practiced a lot before this event. It's our first gig after all. This was actually unfair, because one of the prizes for the Rock4him champions are to be invited in a gig, but because of edmon's bday we got invited still.. haha. So there. We thought of performing 5 songs. Again my brain got all these ideas of adding another member to the family.. well at least a sessionista.. Alex, a former bandmate from trickbind, which was damn good at playing the violin. We did invite him for a practice. I asked him if he wanted to join us in a performance at Makati Rep, and he agreed. So he came to our practices. ALAS! The CHICKEN CURRY BAND has been born. Because of their Unique style in performance.. LOL..

At our first gig, we performed three okay songs, and 2 not so good songs.. haha. Good songs included: The Jansen Song (The epitome of Chicken curry compositions. the first.. so smooth..), Huling el bimbo (Special Request from Ate Yayen of the late and great xtrarice band; Alex was in this song), and Magbalik (unfortunately).. Not so good songs: You'll be safe here (Supposedly dedicated to Kuya abet, but we sucked at it.. sorry Kuya abs XD). and Anghel by Stonefree( Okay na sana, kaya lang ang bilis ng banat namin). So there, first gig. Oh, and we found out that rjay and his gf were having a baby. but this does not stop us whatsoever. we still ride as a team BROTHA!

Second gig was in Hayag Productions.. Same place, Makati Republic.. New lineup: Simula(My own composition, wayback from Trickbind, only cooler this time around), The Jansen Song, new and improved with alex doing the post chorus shit with me. No more acoustic guitars for Rjay here. Sorry Rjay.. Farewell-Slow Version(a composition by Dave..this version was a lot slower compared to the new farewell). And a new addition to our line up, Ikaw lamang by Silent Sanctuary.. This song was suggested by Alex . We agreed. This was also one way to show how we had a kick ass violinist. Lol.

Third Gig was in Kublais Rock bar for Hayag Number 2. Same lineup with 2nd Gig. We had to remove Farewell, 3 songs lang pwede.. dami kasi bands... time constraints.. at una ayaw pa ni Dave kasi we had it fixed, faster version. Oh well. So sorry dave. We screwed up in Ikaw lamang, all thanks to Jansen.. hahaha. Nanunuod pa kasi ng game sa tv habang nag-gig. Damn. Di tuloy nakapagsolo si Alex. Screw that.. We were commended for our song Simula. One guy exclaimed to Rjay on our way out.. "Ano yung title ng kanta nio? Simula? Astig pare.." Music to our ears. Loved that comment, lalo na , ako yung gumawa. Cool.. good times good times... hahaha.

Fourth gig, I was not here. Because of a conflict with the Formdev outing. Shit.. I had to miss our gig where THE DAWN was there.. *sigh*.. Anyways.. this was my last gig in a full band setup... And I am damn sure I will get my revenge on our next gig, and play my whole fucking soul on my fucking guitar... HAHAHA.

Fifth gig, or should I say invitation, was our very first ACOUSTIC set-up at San Carlos Seminary, representing our Vicariate, by performing three songs. We practiced last minute in my house. The third song was very last minute, because we were friggin fed up on our songs.. so we chose With a smile by Eheads as our third song. jansen song and ikaw lamang were the other two..intro of simula was the soundcheck song.. and for a last minute song practice, with a smile turned out pretty fucking good. really. we also had our first few batches of fans that night.. haha. nice one rjay, may humingi pa ng cell number.. hahaha.

Next gig = November something... for another hayag prod. ; And an invitation for an ecology concert for the archdiocese.. Dave and I are composing an ecology song. Something Rageagainstthemachine-kinda-song.

Mishaps = NO DRUMS YET, because of crummy credit cards. burn credit cards of the world. I REALLY need to practice with the band in a studio right now, or else i'll friggin hang myself using guitar strings.

There's Still A lot of side stories in our band .. Madami. Really.. but, i aint got the time...

Item 3

RUSHED ON TV (DOCTORED: Doctor Red Segment 5: "Born to Rock")

I was casted on a segment of RUSH TV on studio 23, all thanks to my bra's in dlsu, red, bicoy, jet, ken, etc.. They thought of casting me for a lead role in the show, as a "rockstar".. They told me I looked the part... so they called me on my cellphone just before prteman class ended. so i walked my way from gokongwei all the way to bro.connon bldg. Student council office for the details. so there. i was expected to show up in the shoot of the segment two saturdays after that day. (after lasaret weekend). Shoot day, chicken curry was supposed to show up at 6am at my house, unfortunately they were still sleeping.. oh well.. Shoot day... bla blah... nice experience though... with the i-feel-like-a-star kinda way.

Magic Mountain

Its been a long time since magikeros or even tres locos magikeros had an event. Last time I remember we were drunk on Holy week. bwhahahaha.
Again, I am sorry for not being at Jeff's party.. Sorry jeff. me and vinno sucked with all the jam-packed lame-ass acitivities in school and off-campus. We WILL give you a hell of a night at Vinno's birthday. You have my word.

LOVE AT 730 Days and counting..

Yes.. Me and Bo are still together after 2 years. Amazing? probably..
Though we had some misunderstandings and shit.. We're still together. Thanks bo. :) Okay.. that's enough before I get all emo and shit.. hahahaha.. BTW i like saying the word "shit" and "fuck" nowadays .. if you noticed.. nyahah..

Item 6

LASALLIAN RETREAT? or S17 OUTING?

It didn't really feel like a retreat, but more like an outing for me and my blockmates. We really had fun on this overnight activity. And with it came memories of the old days. If you know what I mean. Though there remained no more feelings for a significant person in my block, it was fun to have this day of reminiscing with..(first year days.. first term.. hehe).. especially with the ALMOST (no thanks to red, vinno and mark louie... and chi.. haha) all of other guys present... FUN FUN day.. may it not be the last day with S17 dudes and dudettes... :)

GREAT PLACE - GREEN PLACE

This place is really UNgreat.. Brings back good memories, but A LOT MORE BAD memories... Wonder what happened to those guys.. Hope they're good. Hope they found whatever they were looking for. I think I did.. :) Well.. not yet all of it... still working on it...heheh

It is time for methods... and time for sincerity.
After all the shit I had to deal with in college, like SYSDEV and all those programming and math subjects, it all comes to the beggining of the end.. joke. still a long way to go. But before all that, Methods is BUSINESS. I MEAN IT. sana XD....
